We took a short road trip to the lower Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the changing color of the leaves.
The week of Callie's first birthday, we had our first visitors! Janet, Denis and Aunt Selena were able to spend some time with us to celebrate.

Thank you for being you. Mommy and daddy are very blessed to have you, and Olivia is always joyful to be your big sister too. We love your smiles, giggles, hungry appetite and your sweet hugs. Your favorite things at the moment are food, watching Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, sneaking up the stairs with a smile, bath time, mimicking your sister and waving hello & goodbye to complete strangers, and reading Brown Bear, Brown Bear and all Sandra Boynton books. You make friends everywhere we go. Daddy's favorite part of the day is when you greet him with a hug and smile when he gets home from work. You are very curious about everything - drawers, cupboards, the pantry, toilets, trash cans. We know you probably won't remember your first home in Texas, but we are so excited that we will be able to explore New Jersey together. We love you very much.
